In late August we received news that made us pause, and then made us very proud: our CEO Gianna Russo has been included in the Top 100 Tank Storage Influencers Guide 2027 of Storage Terminals Magazine. That places her on an international list of people shaping the tank storage sector worldwide.

Storage Terminals Magazine is an international trade publication dedicated entirely to the tank storage sector: terminals, operators, service providers and the technology around them. The editorial team compiles the annual Top 100 guide over a period of months, based on conversations with operators, terminal owners, service providers and experts from around the world. The guide recognizes people with a demonstrable influence on safety, knowledge sharing, professionalisation and the energy transition within the sector, and is distributed at conferences and exhibitions worldwide.

Why this recognition matters
The tank storage sector is dominated by large international players. That a Belgian family company from Antwerp appears on this list, alongside CEOs of global terminal groups and sector federations, says something about the road Russo NV has travelled in recent years. Our team works on storage tanks at Belgian terminals every single day, from tank coating and tank lining to full tank farm renovations, such as recently at a terminal in the port of Ghent. That daily presence in the field, combined with more than thirty years of experience since 1994, is exactly the kind of hands-on leadership the guide sets out to recognize.
Ceremony in London
The recognition is celebrated at the Top 100 networking event in London, traditionally held during International Energy Week early next year. Gianna will be there, among peers from all over the world.
